Award Winning Music & Audio for Games -- Matthijs Dierckx has been working in the game industry for over 25 years, in a very diverse set of roles.
Since 2015 he's Composer and Audio Designer for Games. In this capacity Dierckx recently became the recipient of a Dutch Game Award, the leading game industry awards of the Netherlands.
Currently working on the upcoming roguelite RPG Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy and some other projects we can't talk about (yet).
Dierckx mainly works in Cubase with a host of virtual instruments from Audiobro, EastWest Composer Cloud, Audio Imperia, Spitfire Audio and more. Implementation using FMOD.
Finally, Dierckx does have an extensive network, particular in the Dutch game industry, and from time to time he still writes about the business of games.
